A labour of love
Thought I'd share the transformation of the spare room into the nursery, which H and I just put the finishing touches to today. Photos begin below this post.
My contribution mainly consisted of hanging about being 'supportive', making a few cups of tea for the painter and being confused by IKEA instructions. However, I did chose the paint colour and the highly important stuffed spotty hippo cushion/toy.

your nursery looks fantastic! I love the hippo rug!
I'm going to live in japan when we get our baby, and we're not going to get our house there till the baby is 3 months old. So I will have to wait to fix the babys room, which will probably make me go insane. Maybe I'll renovate a room in our rented apartment just to be able to relax. LOL

Apparently all babies need is somewhere to sleep (even a drawer will do!) and wont care one bit about their surroundings. The nursery is to be a very grand nappy/diaper changing room until its big enough to move out from our room (6months). So I wouldn't worry about not having anywhere fixed up. Im just a bit OTT when it comes to baby and am demanding that everything is ready by beginning of june even tho im not due til the 7th July! :)

I'm starting to suspect your tummy shrunk a little and you have a screaming person in your house 24/7 now. ;P

I knew it!! I saw the pictures and your baby-boy is just beautiful. <3
Hope you will get time to write about the first few days soon.
I can't wait till I get to meet my baby-boy. 3 and a half month still. The wait is too long imo. ;P
Good luck with everything!
