baby on the brain

Here is s/he at the twenty week scan. All is well and good.

Now that my self-imposed baby things shopping ban has been lifted (was waiting for the 20 week 'ok') I have become obsessed with tiny person clothes and accessories, usually with animals on them. A wee while ago I ordered a tracksuit with a penguin on it... do babies wear tracksuits? Parcels arrive almost daily...grobags and orange babygrows with lions on and organic baggy baby trousers...but it is good because I love receiving things in the post and things are from sales and ebay (another whole story of recent addiction..). I know all about slings and baby hammocks too. Babies well and truely on the brain.

You would be forgiven for thinking it is all babies and nothing else. But life with a bump continues quite normally. We have just had a lovely weekend of visitors complete with long walks, fish n' chips, national monuments and even a Llama. This weekend is my dads 60th and then follows a weekend of catching up with friends and the weekend after we will be in Bali! I do confess that I have been wondering quite a lot about the cost of baby clothes in Indonesia and Singapore - I reckon I could get some bargains....dont you?
